Chablis is made with the chardonnay grape, something not everyone knows and it’s very different in style to southern hemisphere chardonnay. Here is a fresh, lively example with lovely citrus aromas and that typical steely character – great with fish or white meat dishes.
Chablis is one of the great French white wines and instantly recognised the world over. This fine example should be served lightly chilled so as not to mask the elegant fruit flavours, and will go well with charcuterie, fish or even some cheese dishes.
