This Chablis 1er Cru Côte de Léchet comes from 25 different parcels in a nine-hectare vineyard on a steep south-east facing slope. It is fragrant with notes of white flowers and yellow plums on the nose with citrus fruits and an appealing savouriness on the palate.
The Chablis 1er Cru 'Côte de Lechet' is fragrant with aromas of white flowers, lemon and apricot. The palate is defined by a core of intense citrus fruit flavours and a persistent salinity on the long finish.
2018 was one of the best vintages for Chablis in the last 20 years. An unusually warm, dry summer encouraged optimal ripeness while warding off diseases, resulting in plentiful yields. This is welcome news after two years badly affected by frost.
