If you’ve never tasted salsifis, here’s the right product … succulent when heated and adding a little pepper and a knob of butter before serving… melts in your mouth.

I was delighted to find this product. The last time I was in France I was unable to find any Salsify in the three different supermarkets I tried.

It is difficult to find bottled or tinned salsify anywhere and I was delighted to order them from Europa Food at a reasonable cost. These come in small sizes which are ideal for portions of 1-2 people. Perfect in a white sauce and no cleaning/peeling either! I shall order them again.
