CHICKPEAS (sulphites) (64%), Water and salt. Navarrico CHICKPEAS are produced in Navarra, the garden of Northern Spain. These are premium CHICKPEAS have a rich, nutty flavour and thin, tender skins. They are prepared with only water and a little salt - cooked in the same manner as the Spanish do at home. Healthy as well as delicious, they are a rich in protein and particularly high in dietary fibre. Nutty and CREAMy, these CHICKPEAS are a great store cupboard standby for mixed bean salads and vegetable stews.

This is an update to a previous review. We now regularly order our Navarrico chickpeas from EuropaFood and to date this company has never disappointed. They are very professional and reliable in their organisation and when I had a query, I found them very helpful. Previously, we had ordered our Navarrico chickpeas from a different firm and had had some occasional problems with breakages. Not so with EuropaFood, their packaging is superb and very secure. As for the Navarrico chickpeas, every jar (and we have had many !) has been of consistently high quality - a real taste of Spain. Highly recommended !

We ordered Navarrico chickpeas ( a longstanding favourite) and were delighted with the easy delivery, the packaging which was exceptional and above all the taste - savoury and succulent, exactly as they should be. So pleased that we have already made our second order. We tried EuropaFood after a run of Navarrico chickpeas from another supplier which proved to be disappointing ( rather bland, hard and with too much liquid - more like an average can of chickpeas). Just glad we have been able to find these!
