Sagvine Rkatsiteli Qvevri is a premium Amber Dry wine from the Kakheti region of Georgia, crafted using 100% Rkatsiteli grapes and aged in traditional Qvevri clay vessels. This ancient winemaking technique, combined with six months of skin contact, results in a beautifully structured and aromatic wine with a rich amber colour and golden hues.
The aroma is enticing, featuring notes of dried apricot, quince, and pear, with delicate hints of honey, nuts, and subtle spice. On the palate, it offers a medium to full-bodied experience with a creamy texture and flavours of ripe stone fruits, almonds, honey, and a touch of white pepper. Its balanced acidity adds freshness and depth, leading to a long, elegant finish with lingering notes of dried fruit, nuts, and minerality.
An excellent companion for poultry, seafood, and creamy pasta dishes, this wine also pairs beautifully with Georgian specialities like Chaqafuli and badrijani (eggplant rolls with walnuts). Enjoy its complex character at a serving temperature of 12-14°C for the best expression of its flavours.
