Borjomi (Georgian: ბორჯომი; Russian: боржоми) is a brand of naturally carbonated mineral water from springs in the Borjomi Gorge of central Georgia.
Borjomi water is sourced from a 1,500-year-old volcanic spring. Borjomi is produced with utmost care from the central part of the Adjara-Imereti range of the Greater Caucasus Mountains at an altitude of 760–920 m (2,490–3,020 ft) above sea level.
Unlike many sodium bicarbonate waters, Borjomi spring water does not have time to cool before reaching the surface at a temperature of 38-41oC. Multiple rounds of research discovered that deep mineralized waters, fresh waters and weakly mineralized waters form Borjomi spring water.
