A sophisticated, acquired taste. Contrex is the king of Calcium at 486 mg/liter, and it is rich in Magnesium and Sulphate, with only a modicum of Bicarbonate for such a high mineral product - in all, a rare, beneficial chemistry. Furthermore, there is almost no Sodium, Chlorides, or Nitrates.

Love the high mineral content in this water. Great taste and healthy water. Can't drink anything else once tasted this water

I think, if restricted to still French mineral waters, I still prefer Evian, Thonon and Vittel, but it's usually competitively priced and I certainly haven't given up on Contrex for now. Makes a pleasant change.
