Gourmet Wine Series Mukuzani is an exceptional Red Dry wine from the controlled microzone of Mukuzani in Kakheti, Georgia. Made from 100% Saperavi grapes, this bold and structured wine undergoes 12 months of aging in French oak barrels, enhancing its depth, complexity, and refined character.
With a deep, intense ruby colour with purple reflections, this wine boasts a rich and complex aroma of black cherry, blackberry, and plum, intertwined with subtle notes of vanilla, chocolate, and spice from oak aging. On the palate, it is full-bodied and well-structured, featuring ripe black fruit flavours like blackberry, blackcurrant, and dark cherry, complemented by undertones of dark chocolate, coffee, and a hint of black pepper. Its balanced acidity and smooth tannins lead to a long, elegant finish with lingering dark fruit and oak nuances.
A perfect companion for grilled meats such as lamb and beef, hearty stews, and aged cheeses like Parmesan and Gouda. It also pairs beautifully with roasted vegetables and traditional Georgian dishes like Ojakhuri and Kharcho. Best enjoyed at 16-18°C to fully appreciate its sophisticated profile.
