Pommes

Crisp, juicy and naturally sweet, apples are a versatile everyday fruit for snacks, baking and cooking. Explore a wide range of types, from classic Red Delicious and Gala to tart Granny Smith and fragrant Pink Lady and Fuji.

Choose sweeter apples like Gala or Fuji for kids’ lunchboxes, salads and snacking. Pick firmer, slightly tart varieties such as Granny Smith for pies, crumbles and sauces that hold their shape and flavour in the oven. Look for apples with smooth skin, a firm feel and no soft spots for the best texture and shelf life.

Many stores offer options from local orchards when in season, alongside imported apples for year‑round availability. You’ll also find organic apples for customers looking to avoid synthetic pesticides.

Enjoy apples whole, sliced with nut butter, baked with a sprinkle of cinnamon, or diced into oatmeal and green salads. Store them in the fridge to keep them fresh and crunchy for longer.
